Blue Sea-Glass tree

I’ve been making a bunch of new things lately! Check out my facebook page:

This is a seafoam wire wrapped tree with blue seaglass beads =)

The Purple Tree

This combination of white and purple came out perfect. Almost has a look of just getting snowed on, which is just right for this season.

Sunshine is delicious, rain is refreshing, wind braces us up, snow is exhilarating; there is really no such thing as bad weather, only different kinds of good weather.

-John Ruskin

Wire wrapped rocks

I’ve been seeing alot of different wire wrapping techniques, and thought i’d try something new. This is just 3 random rocks wrapped in silver colored wire.

Every block of stone has a statue inside it and it is the task of the sculptor to discover it.

Japanese Blossom

This is probably one of the earliest pieces I have, made it almost a year ago. This is a dark silver colored wire wrapped around a stainless steel frame and a river stone I found in a local river. The beads are glass bits and I feel it really adds to the piece. It kinda reminds me of a young Japanese Blossom tree.

The artist is the confidant of nature, flowers carry on dialogues with him through the graceful bending of their stems and the harmoniously tinted nuances of their blossoms. Every flower has a cordial word which nature directs towards him.

-Auguste Rodin

Little Bit of Abstract

This piece just screams simplicity, hand shaped mixed color glass with aluminum wire to hold it in place.

One of the first simple abstract pieces I’ve made.

There is no abstract art. You must always start with something. Afterward you can remove all traces of reality.
-Pablo Picasso

Cracked Glass

So a bit ago I baked some marbles in the oven to get this really sweet cracked effect going on. I wasn’t exactly sure what to do with them at first (considering i have a few hundred) but I really enjoyed the effect. I figure individual pendants and earring could be sweet so I tossed this one together by wrapping a spiral then pulling it up and around to make the top.

People are like stained – glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in, their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within.
-Elisabeth Kubler-Ross

One of the hemp necklaces for the last picture. This is hand shaped stained glass wrapped in sapphire and sea- foam colored wire. Also bits of wire wrapped around the hemp necklace itself to keep it from looking plain.

Some people are like needle in a hay stock,
but I’m like the moon with the stars.
